When we have invited Jesus into our lives, we are not a pretend Princess but a “Real” Princess.

History
One of our team leaders was asked to teach a Wednesday class to young girls at her church. She had been exposed to the book, The Princess and the Kiss, by Jennie Bishop, and was impressed with the material about teaching girls how to save themselves for marriage.

She then began tracing illustrations onto blocks of fabric for the girls to color each week while she taught the principles using Scripture and life lessons. At the end of 20 weeks, these blocks were sewn into a quilt and a princess crowning ceremony was held for the parents and others in the community to witness the accomplishment.

These lessons have now been condensed into 12 blocks and are presented by a team of four women at a Saturday workshop to girls ages 8 to 14 and their mothers.
