When we have invited Jesus into our lives, we are not a pretend Princess but a “Real” Princess.

FAQ
1. What is necessary to host a Prayer Shawl Project?
Provide a facility (church fellowship halls work great) with a kitchen. We also need some large tables with seating for about 40 people. A TV/DVD, overhead transparency, whiteboard and CD player are helpful.

2. What is the minimum number of registrations needed for the Lighthouse team to come to my area?
We need eight mother/daughter teams, with a partial payment of $15, paid by the Wednesday before the Saturday event.

3. As a host, what is my responsibility?
Help promote the event in your area by sharing the promotional flier with your friends and the mothers of your daughter's friends. E-mail works well for this.

4. What material will be presented to my young daughter?
I'm a little concerned that more will be shared than I am ready for her to hear.

All of the information is shared with little explicity. It is much less explicit than what children are hearing from movies and other places in today's society.

5. Why do the mothers need to be in attendance?
Our goal is to give the mothers some tools and object lessons that they can use to further teach the information as their daughter matures. As grandmothers, we would not have wanted someone telling our young daughters/granddaughters things without us being in attendance.

6. I'm concerned that this might be too long a day for my daughter?
There are several times during the day where everyone is asked to stand and move around to age-appropriate music or to move to other locations to participate in the object lessons. We have found that many of the girls are so content with the coloring project that they aren't that excited about moving around much.

7. Who provides the lunch?
Dakota Growers Pasta Company in Carrington has donated mac 'n cheese mixes. These are served with veggies, dip and cookies. The Generations Traveling Lighthouse Team provides the veggies, dip, paper products, coffee grounds, lemonade, etc. If someone from the hosting area wants to bring some cookies or bars, that is very much appreciated.
